The composition structure of the safety helmet

A safety helmet is composed of three parts: a hood shell, a hood lining, and a chin strap.

(1) Hat shell: This is the main component of a safety helmet, usually using an elliptical or hemispherical thin shell structure. This structure will generate certain pressure deformation under impact pressure. Due to the rigidity of the material, it absorbs and disperses forces, and the smooth surface and circular curve make it easy for the impact object to slide away, reducing the impact time. According to the needs and to enhance the strength of the safety helmet shell, the shell can be made into various types such as light top, top rib, edge and no edge.

(2) Hat lining: A hat lining is a general term for the components inside the hat shell that directly contact the top of the wearer's head. It is composed of a hat hoop strap, top strap, protective strap, support strap, sweat absorption strap, padding and tying rope, etc. The material of the headband lining can be made of cotton woven tape, synthetic fiber tape, and plastic lining tape. The headband is a circular band that tightly wraps around the person's head when worn. The front part of the band is lined with sweat absorbing material, which has a certain sweat absorbing effect. The hoops can be divided into two types: fixed straps and adjustable straps. There are two types of hoops: with a back neck strap and without a back neck strap. The top strip is a lining strip that comes into contact with the top of the human head. The top strip can be connected to the cap shell with rivets or connected to the socket of the cap shell with the plug of the strip. The top strip has a cross shaped or six bar shape. Set up 4-6 corresponding sockets.

(3) Chin strap: a strap attached to the chin to secure a safety helmet. The chin strap consists of a strap and a locking clip. The hat lining without a neck band adopts a "y" shaped chin strap.
